Pre-orders began early Friday, and while many models still showed availability for delivery on Friday, September 16, the Jet Black edition of the 7 promised “3-4 weeks” delivery, and as far away as November for the bigger 7 Plus edition. The smartphone comes with a slightly enhanced design and brand-new internal components that Apple says, will deliver better performance than any iPhone that came before it.
