The Joker And The 10 Greatest Movie Psychopaths

DC’s Man of Steel had good buzz thanks to the trailers but divided both fans and audiences when it came to story. This number ultimately resulted in “Suicide Squad” beating Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy”, whiched earned only $11.2 million during its Thursday night previews.

Headed by the cold and ruthless Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), the baddest of the bad are taken out of solitary confinement to create a covert team of expendable killers and metahumans that can be removed from the equation at any deviation from mission. Also on the impressive cast list Will Smith, Jai Courtney and rapper, Common. And in the case of a comic book movie it proves to the heads that there is a fan base that wants to see the film (the movie needs to earn around 0-0 million worldwide in its theatrical run to be an undisputed success). It doesn’t help that Ayer apparently isn’t great at handling transitions, and are more than happy to abandon logic if it leads to the fight scene they want.

Witch: Cara Delevingne plays a dual role as the Enchantress and archeologist June Moone. Jared Leto’s Joker also may be the worst ever put to film.

“Suicide Squad” had the potential to be as hilariously irreverent as “Deadpool”, a surprise box-office hit about a similarly sociopathic hero.

DC’s newest entry to the superhero genre focuses on a group of supervillains, including Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Diablo (Jay Hernandez) and … well … no one else for whom you will find yourself caring giving the brisk overview of their villainous ways and lack of goal in the film. There are very few wide shots in the movie which gives the audience no placement in the scenes. This caused some of the action to be cheesy and created a second act that, for the most part, completely drops the ball. Margot Robbie nails Harley Quinn, even if the film mishandles her. Jared Leto and Margot Robbie were excellent. Cheers to the Suicide Squad cast and crew, because hey: We love rooting for the underdog, even if the underdog is a movie critics think is as awful as the crimes its bad guys-gone-good commit.

And since they are bad guys, she implants a small explosive device in their necks that will detonate if they rebel, try to escape or disobey.

I would have hoped that DC would learn from Marvel’s mistakes of using one-off villains and cookie-cutter storylines, but there’s nothing quite new just yet for fans of the genre hoping for more. However, that meant that millions of dollars had to be spent on additional photography to get the movie where Warner wanted it.
