The Jungle Book (Teaser Trailer)
Disney has released the first trailer for their live adaptation of The Jungle Book and it is absolutely gorgeous. The story follows a young orphan boy raised in the jungles of India by a pack of wolves and his closest friends, a bear and a black panther.

But while the roster of characters remain the same, they appear as bigger, scarier computer-generated beasts than the singing and dancing animated animals in Disney’s previous 1967 version. There’s everything from stellar animation and CGI to a solid child lead and an incredible cast (Scarlett Johansson killing it as Kaa already)…all ingredients for a blockbuster and possible classic.
Ben Kingsley, Christopher Walken, Lupita Nyong’o and “Breaking Bad” actor Giancarlo Esposito also star in “The Jungle Book“. Thus, Mowgli begins his journey to find his own people who reside in a nearby “man-village” thanks to the guidance of Bagheera and the company of Baloo, discovering many captivating creatures and attractive jungle landscapes along the way that will no doubt look unbelievable in the movie.
Jon Favreau directs the film that revisits Disney’s classic animated feature from 1967.
But more imminent – just six months away, now – is Disney’s “The Jungle Book“.
Mowgli is seen riding on Baloo (played by Bill Murray) at one point, and despite an unrealistic situation in the wild, it looks completely realistic as the giant bear saunters up with the little boy on his back.
Check out the trailer, and hang tight for the release of The Jungle Book in next year.
I don’t know about you but I got chills watching this and by the end there were actual tears in my eyes.
