What time does Muhammad Ali’s funeral procession start?
Charles Elliott III, assistant pastor, said: “There is no greater man that has done more for this city than Muhammad Ali”.
Bounce TV will celebrate the life of Muhammad Ali with a special presentation of The Greatest, the 1977 motion picture in which Ali stars as himself, on Monday night, June 6 at 10 p.m. ET.
The boxing legend, 74, died on Friday of “septic shock due to unspecified natural causes”.
Family members will accompany Ali’s remains to Louisville within the next two days.
Ali had been hospitalised multiple times in recent years. He wanted everyone to be able to attend. Eulogies will be given by former President Bill Clinton, Bryant Gumbel and Billy Crystal, who famously has done a masterful impression of Ali. His body was flown to Louisville on Sunday.
According to The Associated Press, US President Barack Obama said on Saturday that Ali “shook up the world and the world is better for it”. His casket will be taken through the streets of Louisville Friday after a private family service Thursday. It will be open to the public and streamed live on the internet at alicenter.org. “That’s what I remember, just being kissed and hugged and him being that person that would give you anything you want because he wants to see a smile on your face”.
MUHAMMAD Ali’s daughter has revealed that the legend’s heart kept beating after the rest of his organs failed.
Muhammad Ali’s daughter, Laila, is breaking her silence about her famous father, and offering the world insight into the legendary fighter’s death. He had been admitted to hospital earlier in the week with a respiratory condition having suffered with Parkinson’s disease for 32 years.
