Since the beginning, Bindi and Derek have been flawless or very close to it, performing both attractive and complicated dances along the way, as well as honoring her late father, Steve Irwin. The addition of the audience vote made Bindi and Derek queen and king of the dancefloor, earning them the Mirror Ball trophy.

Soon after the dancing win, Irwin tweeted her thanks for all the support from her fans.

Bindi also showed her dedication during rehearsals since she was seen super-gluing her toenails, despite the nails keep falling off, and sustaining minor injuries, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Irwin’s journey on the show has captivated United States audiences for the last three months.

After she performed several dance routines with her ballroom dance partner Derek Hough during Tuesday’s two-hour finale, she was eventually crowned the champion.

“No, no way, her opinion’s the only one that matters to me, so, I’m happy”, Skarlatos said with a laugh.

The judges described her strengths before her finale performances, saying there’s a magic that happens when she dances and that she is fearless.
