The video, which the company shared via Twitter last Tuesday, revealed that the runes can be used to create ice blocks that work as platforms to climb or hop on, allowing Link, the incarnated Zelda series main character, to move from one place to another.

As seen in the official tweet below, Link will be able to switch on the fly between four different types of arrows, with each of them displaying their own properties for offense in combat. After all, not only did it generate the biggest buzz at this year’s Electronics Entertainment Expo by causing the longest lines to play its demo, but also it’s already won numerous awards, including being crowned the Best Game of gamescom 2016. Some of which include fire, ice and bomb.

There is normal type of arrows which can be used to cut ropes where players can’t reach, like in this video players will be able to cut the ropes of a bridge. The first weapon that is shown in the video is a large broadsword that looks quite heavy, even for Link. One rune can make an Ice boulder that Link can use to cross lakes in the “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” while another rune can get treasure chests in the bottom of the lake and other object that is featured in the video are bombs that can damage huge crowds of enemies.

The demo shows Link with his sword, shield, and bow and arrow. The additional videos that feature the different weapon system, multiple-arrow functionally and other skills Link possesses were breakdown for fans of the upcoming game “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”.

The game is slated for release in 2017.
