Pretty much everyone agrees that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is humorless, to say nothing of Ben Affleck’s Batman.
Following on from the global success of The LEGO Movie back in 2014, a spin-off movie starring the supremely popular LEGO Batman character is due for release on Februrary 10th, 2017. Yet it arrived a day later and hours before Batman v Superman’s first wide screenings instead. The teaser even starts with Batman doing some beatboxing into a microphone.
The LEGO Batman Movie is coming, from the people who brought you The LEGO Movie! This past January the parks rolled out an all new Lego Movie 4D, which pit the heroes from.the film against Risky Business.

We don’t get much of the actual story in this trailer (do we do get a fleeting glimpse at the rest of the Justice League!), though it’s reportedly set to focus on The Joker’s hostile takeover of Gotham City. “Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up”, it reads.
