The Man From UNCLE new behind the scenes peek

The 1964-68 series starred suave Robert Vaughn as the womanizing American secret agent Napoleon Solo, David McCallum (“NCIS“) as his enigmatic partner, Russian Illya Kuryakin, and Leo G. Carroll as their boss, Alexander Waverly.

Ritchie, who said he has “just about recovered”, joked about bringing his directing discipline to the nuptials, saying: “It’s much easier for me to get my head around things if I see them as films”.

Now that you know the basics, there are bound to be all kinds of questions popping up in your head.

U.N.C.L.E.” upped the ante from Bond’s laser beams and spring-loaded boot knives to such delightfully outlandish threats as quake inducers and hiccup gas. “If The Man From U.N.C.L.E.becomes a franchise, there’s that…I’m not too sure when I could fit it in”. This could be a real possibility as Guy Ritchie is backing David to take a bigger step into the world of the big screen. “Berlin doesn’t look like that period anymore, so we had to build the sets”, explains Scholl.

Ritchie shared a photo of the guests laughing at the 14-year-old’s speech in a post on Instagram.com, but told British newspaper The Sun that he has no idea what his son said, adding, “I was in no condition to remember”.

Apparently, Henry Cavill is also being considered for the part, or at the very least, rumors say he is. It is Solo who is the square peg, an art thief who has been blackmailed into working for the Central Intelligence Agency.

McCallum’s and Vaughn’s feature careers also flourished with both making movies during their hiatus from the series, including “The Venetian Affair”, “Sol Madrid” and “Three Bites of the Apple”. The duo’s only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organization, and they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.
