‘The Man In the High Castle’ Sets Amazon Streaming Record
When it comes to rewriting history books it appears that Amazon has won over audiences with their alternative history Nazi drama series “The Man in the High Castle”.

Amazon officially has a new hit on its hands.
The critically acclaimed series, which is executive produced by “Blade Runner” director and “The Good Wife” executive producer Ridley Scott, displaces the previous record holder, police procedural series “Bosch”, as Amazon’s most-streamed original show worldwide, Amazon said in a press release on Monday. Netflix still maintains an unparalleled chokehold on the streaming market – #hip #teens aren’t running around tweeting about “Amazon Prime and chill” – but Amazon has locked down a sizable chunk of subscribers and asserted itself as a serious provider of quality entertainment with outstanding programs like Transparent and Mozart In The Jungle. Additionally, it revealed that the series had the most viewed premiere in Amazon Prime’s history.
Amazon made waves over the weekend when it formally released a statement on the streaming giant’s viewer data (albeit in the most general and vague capacity possible).
The streamer announced today that it has greenlit a second season the show, which debuted on November 20. Nor do we have any idea how The Man in the High Castle stacks up when compared to the likes of Daredevils overall viewership.
Amazon has renewed The Man in the High Castle for a second season. In addition to SD and HD, the series is also available in 4K Ultra HD on Amazon Fire TV and compatible smart TVs from Samsung, LG and Sony.
