The massive list of missing features in No Man’s Sky

Whatever the case may be with the future of No Man’s Sky’s add-ons, it’s safe to say that most fans would rather have developers focusing on the necessary fixes required to keep the base game running before working on new content. “So no, there will be no paid DLC, just patches”, he said. “I nearly feel like we need to give them the [modding] tools; otherwise then they’re just going to start making them, tearing apart your game”, Murray said at the time. “It’s pretty insane for us how many people are playing”, he added.

After launching “No Man’s Sky” on the PC and PlayStation 4 last week, speculations claim that the indie action-adventure survival video game might also come to the Xbox One.

A reddit user, Sam123bir posted to the “No Man’s Sky” subreddit saying that players should expect two patches to be released soon enough by the developers. In response, Murray replied fairly carefully saying that he’s unsure if he’s “actually allowed to say” at the time, adding that he needed to be “very specific with my words”.

Hello Games is now working on multiple patches for No Man’s Sky, one of which is aimed for release this week for PS4 and PC. The PC patch was released on the experimental branch of the game on Steam, prior to a roll out to everyone.

No Mans Sky is already massive, with 18 quintillion planets which will already take a lifetime to explore and visit.

If you’re playing on PS4, the process is the same as with deleting save files for any other game. While some are absolutely in love with this game, it has recently become clear that No Man’s Sky is not a game for everybody.

The email details that a patch for both versions of the game will be released this week to “fix the most urgent and critical issues for all our players”. As for the issue of paid DLC, Murray noted that “maybe in the future there’s some reason why we just couldn’t possibly afford to do a certain feature without charging for it”. There is no way to tell just how many players one percent is because Hello Games has not released any sales data at this moment.
