The Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel saga continues… in couples therapy

“I have a monologue to do, we have a band”, he added.

However, the pair still had their work cut out for them. “And now he makes me feel insane!”

“He thinks the world revolves around him; he thinks he’s the only celebrity in California”, said Kimmel to the therapist in the hilarious pre-taped skit.

In their “therapy” session, the two poked fun at Damon’s movie We Bought a Zoo as well as the 44-year-old’s looks.

“I do want to show this”, Kimmel told the crowd, “because I want you to see what kind of person this is”.

Damon has been the butt of Kimmel’s jokes for a decade and the comedian always ends his nightly show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, by apologizing to the Oscar victor for not making time to interview him. “Look at his face and look at his body, it’s not a movie star face or a movie star body”, an increasingly evil Kimmel responds.

When asked to say something nice about each other, all Kimmel could say was he liked Damon’s friends, including Ben Affleck. Eh, probably not. But at least we should get another 12 years to watch the attempts.

The pair hugged it out with an overly long and creepy bear hug to close out the counseling session before dragging each other out into the hallway. Watch the latest development in the feud here.

What would later be revealed as an elaborate method acting job, Joaquin Phoenix’s freaky appearance in 2009 confused not only Letterman, but most of America as well.
