The new adidas Manchester United away kit for 2016/17

Manchester United have made a rather unconvincing attempt at burying the bad news of yesterday’s defeat with the unveiling of next season’s Adidas away kit. “There is also a “Red Devils” detail visible on the inside neck”, a statement on the club’s official website read.

The 2015/16 away kit was white and our third was blue but next year it looks like there will be a switch around as our away kit is blue.

The kit also fancies a red Adidas logo and the signature triple stripe pattern on the shoulders.

The club are set to be deprived of UEFA Champions League football as Louis van Gaal’s men lost to West Ham 3-2 on the last home game at the Boleyn Ground.

The dark blue strip with red accents is a throwback to United’s 1968 European Cup win over Benfica.

Like most of the jerseys available in the the past, there will be a replica, authentic, long-sleeved, and jerseys designed specifically for women and children.

It will be accompanied by dark blue shorts and socks with the same red details.
