The New Mutants: Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams Talks Casting Rumours

Maisie Williams plays Arya Stark in the hugely popular show but in the video takes on the role of Lorraine, a shopkeeper in a hobby shop who has never watched the show.

Williams telling a slightly older woman, “You have to fly around the room like a dragon”, to which the older woman says, “I can do that, absolutely I can do that”, and she proceeds to do just that.

Fans picked their favourite scenes, which meant we got to see Maisie and a lady hilariously re-enact Cersei Lannister’s naked “Shame” scene, complete with Maisie shouting, “Everyone throw s***, uh, stuff at her!” She’s either issuing a come and get me plea – which Boone and Fox would be mad to ignore based on Williams’ existing brand power alone – or her vagueness suggests someone has already gone and got her. New Mutants looks absolutely incredible and Ive always loved the idea of spin-offs and Joshua Boone is incredibly talented. “So, yeah, sign me up”. Moreover, the rumor that sized Williams up for the role of Rahne “Wolfsbane” Sinclair certainly did tap into the realm of feasibility. Sadly, that rumor was debunked. Thus, while the HitFix report might have been slapped down by Fox, it’s hard to deny that, like Wolfsbane, herself, it could still end up having some sharp teeth of truth.
