It then continues showing director Matt Reeves and Andy Serkis introducing the contest. Along with the image, there was also a few teaser of a special announcement regarding the film. Better yet, for the truly devoted among you, he’s also opened up a contest for one lucky fan to be in the movie as a mo-cap character. But considering that they only started filming in late October, it’s a little early for that. The victor will be flown out to the set, get set up in a motion capture suit and will be part of a major battle in the film. Co-written by Reeves and Mark Bomback, the movie will be produced by Chernin Entertainment and Dylan Clark.

So far, it has been two-for-two with the revived “Planet Of The Apes” franchise, with “Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes” and “Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes” both becoming successful blockbusters, with a surprising amount of depth. When you have a film series that spans decades, there are attributes you hold to while still trying to stand on your own, making it an interesting challenge to watch unfold.
