The Next Legal Steps in the Battery Case Against Trump’s Campaign Manager
Earlier this month, former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields alleged that when she attempted to ask Trump a question about affirmative action, Lewandowski grabbed her with so much force that she almost fell to the ground.

Never mind that Jupiter, Fla., police saw enough cause to charge the aide, Corey Lewandowski, with simple battery of former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields.
While Donald Trump’s campaign manager has been charged with battery, the State Attorney’s Office is denying that charges have been filed against Corey Lewandowski.
“Look, it shouldn’t be complicated that members of the campaign staff shouldn’t be physically assaulting the press”, Cruz said on the CNN Town Hall.
‘She had a pen in her hand, ‘ he said.
And, he told “Good Morning America” that he will not be dismissing Lewandowski from his campaign. “What Donald Trump is doing fits the very definition of victim blaming, and it is not only unacceptable, it is actively unsafe”, Chaudhary told the New York Times. But the GOP front-runner has the credibility to pull off his unusually aggressive defense – because if we know anything about Donald Trump, it’s that he always treats women fairly and never, ever fires people.
When asked about Aronberg’s political connections, a spokesman termed the question “inappropriate” and declined to respond.
Since the charge was filed Tuesday, Trump has noted a few times that Fields was carrying a pen in her hand, and Secret Service may not have known what it is – that it could have been “a little bomb”. Despite Fields’s status as a then-Breitbart reporter, the conservative news site tried everything it could think of to cover for its favorite candidate. However, in a sign his pugnacious and unapologetic style of campaigning is not appealing to all of them, a prominent evangelical leader has called for Lewandowski’s firing. “He is completely confident that he will be exonerated”, the statement read.
And, if Trump has to eventually dump the campaign manager after so much toxicity, the real estate mogul is going to look like a hypocrite.
The judge urged Fields, who he said he liked and had worked with at Fox, to take her case to civil court “where the level of proof is lower”.

Trump leads rivals Ted Cruz, a U.S. senator from Texas, and Ohio Governor John Kasich in opinion polls and in the number of delegates to the nominating convention, despite a concerted effort to stop him by a Republican establishment anxious he will lead the party to defeat in November. “I don’t know. Maybe I should, right?”
