The Oculus Touch Controllers Won’t Be Launching Until At Least Mid-October
Oculus VR claims to have finally cleared its pre-order backlog, with new Oculus Rift orders being shipped within four days. It could have been one of the many reasons why more people have preferred the HTC Vive VR headset over the Oculus Rift. Oculus VR has apologized for the delay, and thanked its customers for having “patience over the past few months”.

Those ordering an Oculus VR headset now, the company has stated, can expect to have their device shipped within 4 days.
Oculus first began taking pre-orders for its $599 VR headset back in early January.
Been waiting in agony over your pre-ordered Oculus Rift? At the time, it was telling customers the Rift would ship on March 28. The company said that OC3 will be the largest Oculus developer conference to date. Furthermore Oculus reaffirmed their commitment to launch the Oculus Touch controllers this year, with support promised in more than 30 games.
The news came as the company announced its third annual developers convention.
An Oculus Rift user with the Oculus Touch controllers. More demo displays are also to be found in over 500 Best Buy store across the country and Microsoft Stores will start selling the virtual reality device at retail price.
In other Oculus news, the company also revealed that they are on track for the launch of their Touch controllers.
