The Olsen Twins May Appear On ‘Fuller House’ After All
While almost every major cast member from Full House is going to be back for the revival in one way or another, the Olsen twins have pretty much stated they will not be returning for the new Netflix series.

Sarandos, appearing before journalists at the Television Critics Association press tour, explained why Netflix is so interested in revisting a series that left the air in 1995. According to Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos, it’s quite possible that the 29-year-old twins could reprise their role of Michelle, the tiniest Tanner, when the “Full House” spinoff premieres.
Although it was reported that two of the show’s biggest stars, twins Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, have declined to participate, Sarandos said not so fast.
Sarandos did say that there was “a bunch of stunt opportunity”, that will be available if the Olsen twins would like to be involved with that.
Earlier this year, Netflix announced that it would bring the popular late ’80s/early ’90s sitcom “Full House” back to life in the newly (aptly) titled “Fuller House”. I assumed a presence was going to be some throwaway line about how Michelle was off being a world traveler or dating a French banker or something.

Sarandos promised audiences that “Fuller House” would still embody the “same spirit as the original, but with a modern take” – with or without the Olsen’s involvement. “Things become too much to handle, so she asks for help from her sister Stephanie and her best-friend Kimmy”, the IMDb summary reads. He then shared an image to Snapchat of his Uncle Jesse outside the door of the Tanner family home. Presumably his brother Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit will also return as the other twin, Nicky. But now Steve’s portrayer, Scott Weinger, has confirmed he is part of the reunion on Fuller House.
