The Playstation 4 Is Permanently $349 Starting October 9
Sony will be implementing its first national price cut on its popular Playstation 4, the company announced Thursday.

The North American price cut was widely rumored after Sony cut PS4 prices in Japan during August.
The Sony PS4 has been around a long time now and there are still a few gamers out there who haven’t jumped on the PS4 bandwagon.
The holiday shopping season is fast approaching and that means little Johnny’s going to make his annual pitch for a PlayStation 4 console.
Starting tomorrow, the PS4 will be offered at a starting price of $ 349.99 / $ 429.99 (Canada). In Canada, where the price was previously $449.99, a basic PS4 console will now cost you $429.99 CAD. This update can be downloaded for free, though you’ll have to wait until next month before it rolls out.
As of July the PS4 has sold more than 25.3 million units worldwide, leading the Xbox One and Nintendo’s Wii U.
Microsoft’s Xbox One has been permanently dropped to $349.99 in June.
The Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Bundle and Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Bundle will both be available come November. 17.

It’s better now to buy a new console than previous year as there are many great new games to play now. With this $50 price drop, the Japanese video game console will be at par with Microsoft’s Xbox One 500 GB model. Sony has Bloodborne and Uncharted, however, neither title is as popular as the Halo series, so Sony is banking on the price drop to help keep customers interested in the system. Although he noted that any big impact on Sony share price is not likely as the move was already expected by the investors. The new United Kingdom price could be as low as £299, to match the Xbox One, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a smaller drop-to £329 or thereabouts.
