‘The Price Is Right’ Star Bob Barker Hospitalized After Fall

Publicist Henri Bollinger told the Associated Press that Barker received stitches for his head injuries but managed to walk on his own out of the hospital. Barker had lacerations to his head but was not seriously injured.

Bob Barker is mostly remembered for hosting The Price Is Right on CBS between 1972 until 2007. The current host is comedian Drew Carey.

Bob Barker then began his broadcast career in the years after the culmination of the war, originally working in Springfield, Missouri, the state that his family had relocated to during his teenage years, before working at a radio station in Florida. The show became the first hour-long game show on TV, and is the longest-running daytime game show in history.

He has also hosted his game show career in 1956, hosting Truth or Consequences. Even though he hasn’t worked on The Price is Right since 2007, Bob has remained busy, and has spent a lot of time fighting for animal rights over the last several years. “Have your pets spayed or neutered”.
