The Republican convention hates on Hillary

In another bid to get their message out, the Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee are staging a “counterconvention” operation from a temporary headquarters in Cleveland set up less than a mile from the GOP convention site.

A former US attorney, Christie devoted almost all of his 15-minute speech to tearing down Clinton’s record as secretary of state, accusing her of “awful judgment” in her dealings with foreign powers in Syria, Libya, China and Russian Federation.

It’s Donald Trump’s moment to make his case to the country – and to the many rattled doubters in his own party.

For Trump, the convention was also an opportunity to assure party leaders and voters alike that there’s a kinder gentler side to what many see as merely a brash businessman. Fifty-five percent said they feel less safe in the USA than they did five to 10 years ago, while only 12 percent feel more safe. Multiple events will take place in swing states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

The Clinton team has been high on Kaine from the start because of his extensive governing experience – he is a former governor, lieutenant governor and Richmond mayor.

Clinton also acknowledged that the violence has gone both ways.

Clinton will then travel to Nevada on Tuesday, where she will speak at the 42nd International AFSCME Convention and headline another fundraiser.

Ultimately, State did make the designation, and although Kessler concluded that it could have acted more quickly, there is no evidence that putting Boko Haram on the terrorist list any sooner would have prevented the kidnapping of the schoolgirls.

Still, whatever happens in the next few months, Plouffe predicted that Trump won’t win any of the battleground states.

“I have no idea what’s going on right now”. In a fundraising pitch to donors, her campaign said the GOP convention had “felt like a dark turning point in American politics”.

– She went to the Kremlin on her very first visit and gave them that stupid symbolic reset button. And it should have read delete because she deleted in four years the safety and security it took us to build in 40 years.

The Democrats will have an uphill battle to get attention, though.

Clinton’s aides in Cleveland will try to break through the media’s focus on the Republicans with a series of press conference, press calls and events.

What’s so outrageous is that for the rest of her life, Hillary Clinton will never even think about dialing 9-1-1. Nine percent said they were less likely to vote for the former secretary of State and 73% said the endorsement didn’t impact their decision. A trio of Clinton supporters including DNC Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz will be featured speakers.
