While the segment didn’t accomplish a ton, sometimes a wrestling fan has to enjoy entertainment for entertainment’s sake.
The Rock vs. The New Day – did anyone win? While there might never be another Rock, they do have entertaining guys on the roster that could carry a long segment without getting boring.
He said: ‘And they said “Rock where you going?” All wrestlers competing on the night would be evaluated to see which ones would be most impressive.
He entered the arena to his usual “can you smell what The Rock is cooking” theme and lapped up the crowd’s attention before normal service resumed and he set about destroying everything in this path. The victor will face Triple H at the main event of Wrestlemania for the belt.

One of the highlights of WrestleMania 31 previous year was The Rock and Ronda Rousey confronting Stephanie McMahon and Triple H and Rousey locking Steph in a vicious armbar, before a raucous crowd. Ambrose and Reigns won the match when Reigns speared Sheamus. Fans will also debate whether the debut of AJ Styles on RAW or Triple H’s world championship victory played a role in the bump in viewership. Not only would the crowd be into it, but it would actually be a great match. Big Show hit the ring to make the save for the babyfaces.
Styles is capable of being one of the biggest stars that WWE will have in 2016.
Coming out of the back of the match you can line up so many feuds. This right here is what people were waiting for when the Divas Revolution started, so WWE needs to take advantage. In all honesty, I thought Kevin Owens would interfere in the Styles-Jericho match and Sasha-Becky would be one of the best matches of the night, but the exact opposite happened. Even one of his fellow new signees, Nakamura, could end up in the match.
It should be interesting to see if Show’s appearance was just another instance of WWE rushing out another hero to help even the odds or the ignition of another push for the World’s Largest Athlete.
According to Cageside Seats, one of the last two with Triple H was meant to be Roman Reigns, not Dean Ambrose. It’s a nice position to be in for the company, as they can make any combination of solid matches in the upcoming weeks.
7th Match – The Miz vs Kalisto: Miz entered the ring first, grabbed the mic, and said that he was exhausted of being interrupted. I like having The Miz wrestle here, just because he does well against smaller opponents, and it’s good to remind people that he is more than just a mouthpiece every now and then.
The only surprise was the appearance of Big Show late in the match as he rescued the babyfaces from a beatdown at the hands of the risky Wyatt Family. If someone is going to get pinned it will probably be Lesnar after Bray Wyatt does something to him.
