‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ Cast Reunites For 40th Anniversary
Now, 40 years after its initial release, the cast is making the publicity rounds, telling anyone who will listen how it’s been a time warp since 1975.

Tim Curry and the rest of his Rocky Horror Picture Show buddies have reunited 40 years after the movie first hit the big screen!
Susan Sarandon played Janet, who quickly embraces her sexuality and joins in on the musical numbers. Before the show, several gather on stage and teach audience members steps to the signature “Time Warp” so they can participate in the finale. There’s a lot about the film, from the midnight screening phenomenon to both versions of the film, that the most ardent fan of the film is going to be entertained for a long time.
Inspired by Science fiction and horror B movies, the rock “n” roll musical tells the story of squeaky clean sweethearts Brad and Janet and their encounter with insane transvestite scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter and his latest muscular creation, Rocky Horror.
Susan also said filming the cult classic – which cost just $1.4 million to make and has grossed $139.9 million – was challenging as she fell ill thanks to the cold and damp conditions in the “castle”.
