The snow will end tonight, but bitter cold is on the way!
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for northwestern parts of the state through Monday morning.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Snow. Overnight accumulations of 2-6″+ possible, with lesser accumulations to the SW of Binghamton and larger accumulations to the northeast of Binghamton”. Snow will continue through the overnight Sunday, leaving behind 2-6″+ come Monday morning”.
Weather officials are advising caution on the roads with reduced visibility. Among those stranded were boy band OneRepublic, which tweeted Sunday that they could not make it to their concert in Las Vegas due to the snow storm. The New York City Department of Sanitation has issued its first snow alert of the season even though only a few hours of a wintry mix are likely. High temperatures will reach 32 degrees.
Travel may be hazardous or impossible in the area, and summit visits should be postponed until conditions improve, the Weather Service said.
A Code Blue is called when the NWS predicts a wind-chill temperature of 20 degrees or below or precipitation with temperatures below 32 degrees.
Snow accumulations of 5 – 8 inches are expected.
The frigid air will remain in place through next weekend, where lows will drop to below zero with highs in the single digits to low teens. Then mostly sunny, with a high near 39.

A snow storm moves in around midnight into early Sunday and will bring accumulating snow to SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario.
