The Status of Ayushmann Khurrana And Bhumi Pednekar’s Manmarziyan
Manmarziyan will reunite the hit pair of Ayushmann and Bhumi after their last outing Dum Laga Ke Haisha. So, it is not a surprise that the Ayushmann and Bhumi will now be coming together for another romantic movie. Producer Aanand L Rai has now made a decision to put the film on the back-burner for the time being.

Rai had announced Manmarziyan a while back.
Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s Manmarziyan has been put on hold with rains playing a spoil sport for the makers. “Mr Rai never compromises on his vision and on the quality of his films”. The primary reason behind the postponement are the incessant rains in Northern India.
So, the producer has chose to now shift his focus towards the promotional activities of his upcoming production, Happy Bhag Jayegi, starring Diana Penty, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Deol and Ali Fazal in lead roles.
It is said that due to the constant delay, Ayushmann is now concentrating on his other project – “Meri Pyaari Bindu” with Parineeti Chopra.

Sources close to the project also reveal that the makers want to capture the North Indian winter, which is why the film has been put on the backburner. “Earlier, Sameer Sharma (‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana”) was helming the movie, but he opted out after a few days’ shoot due to creative differences with producer Aanand L Rai. Mr Rai then roped in Nil Battey Sannata director Ashwiny-Iyer Tiwari for the film. However, Sameer made a decision to part ways with the film due to certain creative differences, after which Ashwini Iyer Tiwari came on board.
