While Bungie continues to slowly tease the game’s new content, many fans are eager to know what else is going on with some of the bigger items in this expansion, including the new Raid. They’ll be pushing those improvements into Destiny: The Taken King, but that isn’t all. So as a part of this update, we’ve taken all Destiny content and for lack of a better term questified it. To that end, players Quest page will see some big changes.

Polygon says some individual parts of bounties can get players greatly frustrated, but bounties for exotic weapons have proved to be the most enjoyable and rewarding series of tasks in Destiny. In many ways, these were the earliest tendrils of how we’d come to think about Quests in Destiny.

The popular shooter’s developer Bungie announced July 10 that the game will also be updated to version 2.0, bringing with it significant changes to numerous title’s core mechanics.

The Taken King expansion for Destiny was created with more such moments in mind, but the already existing content is also getting a range of changes in order to offer more quests.

In other words, the number of Bounties players can carry will be increased; slots for both Quests and Bounty will be tracked in the HUD; completed Bounties will be turned in from the Quests screen; and Reputations will be moved from Inventory to the Quests page. It will cost $39.99 — twice as much as Destiny’s first two expansions – while the digital Collector’s Editions will be available for $79.99. Quests are an arrangement of activities and challenges that tell a story and represent a journey for the player. Whatever it may be, you can expect more information on “Guns, Balance, Progression, Destinations and Enemies” in the weeks leading up to The Taken King’s release on September 15th.
