For Apple TV, a new remote app has been added that can be used in case physical remote is misplaced or if more remotes are needed for multi-player games.

Separately, US pay TV operator DISH announced that it is launching its standalone over-the-top service, Sling TV, on the latest version of Apple TV device. You will be able to search by entering text using the keyboard. Of course, many developers have been coming in with standalone apps for the Watch, apps that allow using the smartwatch without looking over to your iPhone. Reason? It is super useful, and more so on Android phones that are full of bloatware and unwanted apps. It’s also extending Apple Pay to the web, so users can pay for purchases made on their Mac computers using the fingerprint authorization on their iPhone or Apple Watch.
That was followed up by a demonstration of a new operating system for the Apple Watch that opens apps much faster than the previous version, and lets users write messages with their finger on the watch face, including in Chinese.

Apple Music has had a design update and that’s reflected in the tvOS app to give more clarity and ease of search.
Apple TV now has over 1,300 video channels (only 80 before) and close to 6,000 native apps in just six months. You’ll also find a new control centre, quick replies to messages, a ton of activity and fitness features and a new emergency dial feature for those moments when you might need to call 999.
The company says it’s committed to keeping most user data encrypted on individual iPhones or other devices, rather than uploading information to process on Apple’s servers.
The tabs feature in Safari is now available for the apps on Mac that supports multiple windows such as Maps, Mail, Pages, Numbers, keynote, TextEdit and other third party apps.
Secondly, there are a lot of people that use third-party apps.
At a time when sales of its flagship iPhone are slowing, Apple seemed determined to show that it can make its gadgets indispensable, or at least as useful as its competitors’ products.
Photos now supports Memories making navigating one’s photo library more easy on the big screen.
MacOS also boasts a feature called Auto Unlock.

Apple will apparently address a few Live Photos issues in the upcoming iOS 10 update, such as Live Photos stabilization, but the video and GIF export options have yet to be mentioned at all.
