The Trump inner circle is taking steps toward making ‘Trump TV’
Now, however, the Financial Times reports that Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, the publisher of The Observer, has met with Aryeh Bourkoff to discuss a potential TV venture.

It is unclear exactly when Kushner’s conversation with Bourkoff took place. The Republican nominee has, time and again, shown himself to be an egotistical narcissist who can not admit to any form of failure. Neither Kushner nor Bourkoff immediately responded to emails from Courthouse News seeking comment.
But while Trump is focused on the final stretch of the campaign, Twitter has made his job easy if he does end up losing and starting Trump TV.
Trump is down in almost every national poll, and most election forecasters are predicting that Hillary Clinton will win the White House.
There have been rumblings for months that the media-obsessed former reality star’s endgame is to launch a media company after the election to capitalize on the support he’s received. In September, Trump addressed the rumors in an interview with the Washington Post.
White House win or lose, Trump TV might be here to stay.
Trump’s anti-media campaign could naturally turn into a marketing pitch like this: “The media rigged the election against us”.
But it would also be very hard to pull off. The sources who reported the Kushner/Bourkoff meeting also reported that talks had not progressed since.
Beck pioneered a direct-to-subscribers network several years ago.
“It’s harder to do than people think it is”, Zucker said. “The whole strategy was predicated on using mass communication and free media to counteract the paid media attacks on him, which worked pretty good, to my surprise”, one longtime adviser told me. “But I don’t know”.
Rumors that Trump was looking to monetize his active base of supporters have been rife throughout his unlikely romp through the Republican presidential primaries and into the general election.

On the other hand, it is highly plausible that these moves make no sense at all, that Trump is simply an uncontrollable madman lashing around, and perhaps the gestures toward creating a media empire reflect Kushner’s strategy rather than his own.
