Dallas has been in a freefall without Romo: The Cowboys have gone 0-7 with Matt Cassel and Brandon Weeden under center.

Another thing the Cowboys have done that should be a part of their game plan in the running game, is pulling their athletic offensive linemen around the formation to get Darren McFadden started on the edges. With Romo, the team was 2-0 at the beginning of the season but now is on a seven-game losing streak. This will change Sunday and the Dolphins will have their hands full against a solid O line and running game. “I feel like when it happened again on Sunday, it kind of felt like it was going to go down that same path, but our team fought back out of it, we never gave up”.
If the Cowboys lose even one of these games, their statistical odds drop them even further from contention and add one more nail to their figurative coffin.

The Cowboys have to win out to potentially make the playoffs, which is a lot of pressure on Romo. NY has a bye this week, so the Cowboys could cut that deficit to two games with a win on Sunday. Getting a lead against a Tony Romo is all the better with his ability to close out games in the fourth quarter.

The defense will continue to play well, although the Dolphins will do better than the 10 points that Tampa Bay put up. Next week is the first time this season the entire team will be together. Dallas needs a win and that is exactly what they are going to get.
