‘The Voice’ Season 9 Spoilers: Finalists Revealed After Shocking Semifinal
Barrett Baber (Team Blake) sang “Ghost” by Ella Henderson, giving it a country-soul flavor and possibly punching his ticket to the next round.

While the audience was roaring with applause, Jordan’s coach Adam was basically laughing in disbelief and clapping because he was so astounded. Artists competing in the finale include Jordan Smith, Emily Ann Roberts, Barrett Baber and Jeffery Austin. Blake thought Shelby sounded fantastic and that it was ideal.
Marietta teen Zach Seabaugh lost his opportunity to move on to the final four NBC’s “The Voice” to competitors Jeffery Austin and Madi Davis.
Team Pharrell’s Madi Davis was the next to perform and she sang “Don’t Dream It’s Over” by Crowded House.
Gwen told Braiden his performance was spiritual and handsome, just adding to his excellent tone.
Zach Seabaugh (Team Blake) pulled out “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus, again bringing energy and stage presence along with surprising versatility.
When Tuesday’s results show concluded, only four remained in contention. Blake said the performance was like watching a Disney movie and similarly, Pharrell commented Madi was like an actress in an insanely good performance.
It was quite a night for Emily Ann. After being complimented on her rendition of “9 to 5” by Dolly Parton herself, Blake’s country sweetheart learned she was headed to the finale. But rather than flip another pop song, she chose to go back to her roots with a cover of Bob Dylan’s “To Make You Feel My Love”. With such a high-energy, clearly fun performance, she just stole a spot in the finals.
“I just want to say this is one of if not the nicest person I’ve ever met. She’s gentle, kind, and caring and I couldn’t have asked for a better friend throughout this whole experience”.

While Korin’s past Tuesday night performances had been strong enough to earn her two Twitter saves, on last week’s Voice Season 9 episode she completely fell apart. The next announcement revealed that the next contestant to be advancing to the finals is Emily Ann Roberts. Shelby Brown, also from Team Adam, is also far from the other’s ranks gaining No. 48 in the iTunes charts. I know I’ve called Jordan Smith the American Sam Smith of this season, but with this vocal, it really seems like Jeffery is taking up that mantle. The results will be announced tomorrow in the live eliminations.
