Which of these do you want most out of “The Walking Dead’s” first episode of 2016?

“The Walking Dead” returns Sunday on AMC at 9 p.m./8c. Apparently he doesn’t like when someone asks him who Negan is, or any questions for that matter. Jessie’s (Alexandra Breckinridge) idiot son, Ron, tried to shoot Carl, because Ron’s still peeved that Rick killed Ron’s no-good dad.

Greg Nicotero, who directed both the mid-season return and the Season 6 finale, noted that the second half of the season brings the “most exciting, dramatic change in the show”. Clearly, the producers new they had an action packed episode in their back pockets. Unquestionably The Walking Dead’s finest hour, and tremendously inspiring for the series going forward. The call for fan’s react videos hints at shocking moments, episode highlights that would send chills and have the avid viewers (and comic readers) on the edge of their seats.

You won’t catch me giving away spoilers for the season-six mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead on Sunday night, which frees me up to make a more general observations about the series. In the comics, Maggie gets pregnant just before watching Glenn get murdered by Negan before her eyes, and then gives birth to their child and ultimately becomes the leader of the Hilltop Colony.

Next, we finally get the Glenn and Maggie reunion we’ve been waiting for.

According to Kirkman, “Morgan has a very solidified way of thinking that he truly believes in that is at times very much in conflict with nearly everyone in Rick’s group, and that’s going to be a huge part of this back half of the season”. Emmy victor Wever’s Denise has only just started to come into her own as an untrained doctor – and Alexandria desperately needs someone with her skill set. “Usually with the show, every episode there’s two or three of the actors are physically exhausted from something that they had to do while they were shooting”, he said.

Meanwhile, Daryl is using the missile launchers to take out as numerous walkers in Alexandria. This seems less likely to me, as Abraham’s death wouldn’t have almost the impact that Glenn’s did, but it still seems that Michael Cudlitz is on his way out.

With interest around “The Walking Dead” TV series at an all-time high, there was a tremendous amount of anticipation when it was announced that a game would be based on the novel that inspired it, and importantly, focus on the character of Michonne.
