‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers Reveal A ‘Darker’ Series; ’24’s’ Xander Berkeley
Heading into its sixth season, The Walking Dead is looking stronger than ever.

Though Berkeley’s role is being kept under wraps, fans who have read the comics are pretty sure that the actor is playing the comic book character Gregory.
At this time it doesn’t sound like he’s a character viewers may remember from the comics (unless, of course, he’s the TV show’s version of Negan).
“The Walking Dead” stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, Lennie James, Alanna Masterson, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Seth Gilliam, Tovah Feldshuh, Ross Marquand, Alexandra Breckenridge, and Austin Nichols. Although it is too early to tell, there is a good chance that Berkeley’s role on the series may be some variation of Negan, just not the character himself.
Berkeley’s character name is not being released, but it’s being reported that this mystery man will have many of Negan’s notorious characteristics including narcissism, a huge ego, self-preservation tendencies, and a strong desire to be in control. The new Season 6 portraits show Rick and Morgan pitted against each other. Producers apparently have big plans for the role, as Berkeley’s deal specifies that he could be promoted to a series regular in season 7. But one thing they did mention is that his character will not be appearing on the show until mid-season, so fans will have quite a long wait until they see what he brings to the table.
You may recognize Berkeley from roles in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Taken, and Air Force One.
What do you think of this latest Walking Dead casting?
The character is also known for his playful nature around women.

Reporters said that AMC had released a series of clips and photographs from “The Walking Dead: Season 6″ to give the fans a glimpse of how disgusting the walkers would look.
