The Witcher 3 has received all sorts of different updates, patches, and free DLC packs from CD Projekt Red ever since its debut on May 19 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms.

Wild Hunt just got a patch on July 20, CD Projekt RED has released a change log for a brand new patch, officially dubbed 1.08. Soon you will be able to take matters into your own hands with The Watcher Role-Playing Game, a pen-and-paper RPG recently announced by video game developer CD Projekt Red in collaboration with tabletop RPG developer R. Talsorian Games.

According to Marcin Momot, Community Lead & Website Coordinator at CD Projekt Red, the update will again focus on improvements to performance, title design particularly the UI, and upgraded gameplay. It will be added to every player’s inventory once the new patch is installed. It also addresses several unique issues such as items in the stash would disappear or Geralt getting stuck while running as well as finding some ways to increase level requirement on a few gears following the rollout of patch 1.07. It will reduce level requirements on all gear for a period of one hour. It doesn’t appear as though this particular patch is going to be bringing a ton of new content but considering how much content is already in the game, polishing some things will be plenty cool. Part of the change log does specifically state that patch 1.08 is going to fix a couple of problems that might have been caused by the previous patch.

The patch will also include fixes for various gameplay and quest issues, all of which are detailed on The Witcher 3 forums.

Another interesting aspect to update 1.08 is the release of ‘preparatory features paving the way for the introduction of New Game + in the future, ‘ one for fans to look out for.
