The Wonder Woman Trailer Will Make You Want Your Own Lasso
To tie-in with Comic Con the debut trailer has arrived. Even though we don’t see much of Gal Gadot’s face in the poster, it does shine a light on her costume and weapon of choice. Nevertheless, the studio wants to ensure everyone’s still on board, especially in light of the polarizing reception towards Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Wonder Woman is truly getting her own movie, and the definitive proof was released by WB today.

The film follows the titular character, Diana Prince, in her origin story as she leaves her secluded island to help stop the first World War. ‘We need heroes who are strong enough to be loving and forgiving…That’s what wonder woman in particular stands for’.
The official trailer for the movie was shown to an appreciative audience at the Wonder Woman 75th Anniversary panel at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday, 23 July.
Led by Gal Gadot as the title character and directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster), the movie is now in post-production and won’t see the light of day until next June. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.
Wonder Woman also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Lucy Davis.
Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers and her true destiny.
Some of the directors include Ben Affleck, who will be directing the Batman solo film and Patty Jenkins, the director of Wonder Woman.
