The X Factor is back on our screens tonight and we could not be more excited!

It was a smart move and one that certainly endeared him to the man himself!

After admitting he often gets mistaken for the TV judge, Eddie entertained with his version of Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling In Love, and was given three yeses to get through to the next round.

“Simon tried a few things and it didn’t really work and he knew that, he has a gut feeling”.

Last year, The X Factor’s first instalment suffered a two million drop in figures from the previous year: in 2014 an average of 8.9 million people watched the show on the same weekend despite Simon’s hopes that the revamped format and judging panel would draw in more viewers.

“I’m entranced by you”.

The 19-year-old struggled from the offset as he performed John Denver’s Take Me Home, but was encouraged to sing a self-penned track written for his dead brother. I loved your energy.

In a recent interview Louis was probed on whether he’d follow in the footsteps of Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan – who revealed in 2014 that they’ve made plans to take the drastic measure if either of them fall seriously ill – and said: “Yes, I would”. “Your voice is good”.

The show’s return was viewed by 6.8 million people in the United Kingdom last night.

Nicole joined in with KM as he struggled to hit the notes of the ballad and after the duet Simon gave his verdict, saying: “Look, I think it probably didn’t go exactly where you thought it was going to go, but I like you”.
