There is a zombie party, but it’s not the GOP

Democrats only believe in bi-partisanship when Republicans come to them.

Just hours earlier, the Republican Party was represented on national television by another telegenic Gen-Xer, presidential candidate Marco Rubio. “They’ve tossed it all aside”. He has attended events for both parties: a fundraiser for President Obama at George Clooney’s home and a Minneapolis Republican Convention in 2008. They are caught in a trap of their own making.

The US economy stayed afloat in the third quarter despite global turmoil, but it’s struggling to break out of the slow-growth pace that has plagued the economic expansion. They should use tools like Budget Reconciliation aggressively, adding conditions to spending bills and legislative initiatives that the White House wants. This culture is creating more dependence and more dependence. “But I pledged to you that if I could be a unifying figure, then I would serve – I would go all in”. We show in the book that the relationship between who has the most endorsements and who does well is strongest among partisan voters. “But that’s what this budget deal does”.

“I know the Democrats have the ultimate Super PAC”.

“This is not good budgeting”.

This decision has been incubating over the past 17 years, years of watching the downward spiral of the Party of Lincoln and Reagan into the Party of Democrat Lite.

Democrats often lament that there are no moderates left in the GOP. Does your opposition to it show that you’re not the kind of problem-solver American voters want? They want to get rid of all opposition. That’s their modus operandi. I mean I don’t think there is a person that he hasn’t taken a jab at. Let the public decide who to cast the ballot for, stop pushing them in the direction that you want them to be heading, it’s not fair, and it’s biased!

“There’s not one Republican fingerprint on the American health care system today”.

“So, the idea that the Democrat Party and their nominee, most likely Hillary Clinton, pose a grave threat to this country’s future because of their runaway spending, their expansion of the welfare state, the expansion of the entitlement state, the creation of more and more dependents, we can’t say that anymore”, Limbaugh said. While a love of music is universal, genre preferences divide along party lines.

“There’s not one Republican running for president that could be blamed for the structure and the operational joke that is Obamacare”.

The question is why are Republicans expected to enthusiastically embrace outreach Democrats would never consider? “Remember the $700 billion Obama cut from Medicare to take that money and spend it on Obamacare”.

“Obamacare was based on a bunch of lies”. It was no way gonna give health insurance to everybody. It was no way gonna be free. Its most consistent themes – anger at the moderators and an nearly apocalyptic vision of the Obama presidency – won’t help much beyond the party primaries.

“The last seven years of Barack Obama have been an absolute disaster economically, socially, and culturally. And what we’ve had is Republicans afraid to stand up to any of it”. His huge unfavorable ratings mean that he is unacceptable to many swaths of American voters. “When did that begin?”

But if not Mr. Trump or Mr. Carson, who now have combined support of about 50 percent in most polls, then who?

What is happening is that the Republicans are allowing the Democrats to define the issues and frame them in such as way as they will have to be defensive. “And that’s who he thinks his friends are”. So this is another example of the double standard that exists in this country between the mainstream media and the conservative movement. Or his staff, or people who have campaigned for him, are going to be willing to campaign for the candidate.

The GOP establishment is cooked Why it's powerless against the ultra-right's onslaught
