There’s a “Breaking Bad”-Themed Coffee Shop in Istanbul, Turkey”
If you’ve ever felt the compulsion to exclaim, “Yeah, coffee!” in the vein of Jesse Pinkman, you may want to consider reducing your daily caffeine intake. Then there are the espresso cups that looks like beakers and the staff wearing hazmat suits as if they were brewing a few deadly concoction and not good old coffee.

Walter’s Coffee Roastery is a new cafe modeled after the hit AMC show, “Breaking Bad“.
Breaking Bad ended in 2013 after five seasons and was one of the highest-rated television shows of all time. But since it’s a little late for that, visitors instead can revel in the cafe’s science-chic decor and Breaking Bad-themed treats.
Of course the breakfast menu is also inspired by White’s pancake and bacon-loving son, Walt Jr.
You won’t find blue crystals, box cutters or calculating fried chicken restauranteurs at Walter’s, but you will find baristas in yellow jumpsuits, blue rock candy, drinks served in beakers, Chemex coffeemakers and a giant periodic table on the wall.
The cafe’s Facebook page now has more than 13,000 likes and almost 1,200 visits.
Speaking to Buzzfeed, Kosan said the idea for Walter’s Coffee Roastery had originally been a joke between him and his cousin. “He looks like Walter White from the TV show and I thought it would be great to create a place where people can work and enjoy fresh roasted and brewed coffee”, he told Buzzfeed.
The powdered sugar – or is it? – on the pancakes makes the most adorable Walter White portraits.

Kosan said business is booming and he hopes to expand his coffee empire throughout Turkey next year, and possibly the U.S. and Europe in the future.
