These dogs may win the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show
The second and final day of the 2016 Westminster Dog Show gets underway Tuesday in New York City.

No beagle had won the Westminster show until Uno.
“Creativity is a factor” in judging, says Paul Campanella, a Westminster official who helped plan the competition.
Only one German shepherd has ever won Westminster, the famed and fittingly named Manhattan in 1987.
Rumor is fresh off her biggest win yet, at the AKC/Eukanuba show in Florida last December.
Some 2,700 dogs from more than a dozen countries have entered the two-day competition, one of the world’s most prestigious events for pedigree breeders. The hound, toy, nonsporting, and herding groups will be broadcast live on CNBC beginning at 8 p.m.
The 140th annual show kicked off Monday with the hound, toy, non-sporting and herding groups competing ahead of the “Best in Show” award Tuesday night.
Niko’s daughter, CH Perfetto Here for A Good Time, who goes by the name Nutella, will be shown by Joy Nachmias.
“She’s a sweet, attractive animal”, co-owner Pamela Buckles said.
“I have shown a couple of times at Westminster – not this year – and I have my grandchildren with me today and I want them to learn about the different kinds of dogs and they’re fascinated!”
“It’s been challenging. It’s not an easy breed to show”.
“She loves it, they’re bred to be the type of pets that sit in your lap and be pampered”, the Savage, Minn. resident said.
There are 270 dogs from NY in the show, the most from any states.
New Jersey native Sheryl Gaines spent the last 15 years lobbying the Westminster Kennel Club to include Spanish Water dogs.
Fans say the sport strengthens communication and trust between dogs and owners. “These rosettes keep the hip joint warm and these keep the wrists warm”, she said.
“Oh, they’re all so handsome”, Scott said.

There are 600 dogs staying at the hotel and they’re the true VIPs, or as Grymek calls them, the “Very Important Pooches”.
