They May Have Found a Piece of MH370

Apparent airplane debris found off the coast of Reunion Island, a French department in the western Indian Ocean, is being examined to see if it is connected to the 2014 disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, a member of the French Air Force in Reunion said.

Although nothing has been confirmed, investigators said, that was discovered this morning had been in the water for quite some time. The man sent Mr Tytelman a series of photos showing wreckage of a plane, which the Frenchman said could possibly be the missing jet.

Tytelman told that he believes it’s the wing of a Boeing 777, the sort of plane that disappeared, and that he has shown the photos to colleagues who agree.

Writing on his blog, Mr Tytelman said that the photos of the wreckage had aroused significant interest on the AvGeek website – a closed forum for pilots. It is way too soon to say whether or not it is MH370. However, it’s clear, that this reference would allow a quick identification.

The plane was flying from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia to Beijing, China, when it was thought to have come down in the Indian Ocean on March 8 a year ago. There were 239 passengers on board the doomed craft that disappeared without a trace under freakish circumstances.

Reunion Island is a speck of land off the coast of Madagascar, which is near the southeast coast of Africa.
