Thief stuffs snake in his pants at Oregon pet store

A man was caught on surveillance camera stealing a rare snake out of a pet shop in Portland, Oregon – by stuffing the slithery creature down the front of his trousers.

Christin Bjugan, manager of A to Z Pets in Portland, said a 2-foot-long black pastel ball python was noticed missing Friday, so she spent Saturday pouring over security camera footage to identify the culprit. She says this type of snake isn’t aggressive, but on that day, the man got lucky.

Police in Portland, Oregon are looking for a shoplifter seen stuffing a python down his trousers and walking out of the pet store.

“You’ll see him put it in his trousers – yuck”.

Bjugan said the man was accompanied by a blue-haired female accomplice.
