Thielen makes three catches in Vikings win
The NFL offseason is usually filled with roster turnover leaguewide, and while that was mostly the case this spring and summer, the Steelers and Vikings enter the Hall of Fame Game with numerous same pieces as last season.

Standing in the sidelines and watching the NFL Hall of Game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings, Peterson believes that he has earned the right to think he could be one of the awardees sometime in the future.
Backup quarterback Mike Kafka threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to rookie tight end MyCole Pruitt in the second quarter, and running back Joe Banyard added a 1-yard score in the third quarter for Minnesota.
The preseason game will kick off the start of 2015 in the NFL and it comes after Jerome Bettis was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
The Pittsburgh Post Gazette remarks that it is only one preseason game, not really worth looking into the results of it all.
He was all over the field making plays both against the run and the pass, finishing with four tackles and also almost made a diving interception as well.
Coach Mike Tomlin sat out Bell, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, wide receivers Antonio Brown and Wheaton, tight end Heath Miller, center Maurkice Pouncey and guard Ramon Foster on offense.
All eyes will be on Peterson, who hasn’t played since Week 1 of the 2014 regular season, but the Vikings coaching staff will likely be focused on second-year quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. He was tripped up just short of the goal line. To help pass the time before the Vikings kickoff their preseason against the Steelers later tonight, we asked Vikings fans what they wanted to see the most in the preseason debut.
With Roethlisberger given the night off and backup Bruce Gradkowski dealing with a sore arm, the Steelers gave third-stringer Landry Jones an extensive look.
The Steelers struck first with a field goal from Shaun Suisham in the second quarter.
Overall, Jones’ performance wasn’t all that impressive on paper. and he did overthrow several receivers on plays you have to make if you want to be an NFL quarterback. Peters grabbed the loose ball for a fumble on the play. Wallace starred for the Steelers from 2009-12…. Pittsburgh’s top pick, LB Bud Dupree, had two tackles….
Though the Steelers lost the game, there were some flashes of competence, ingenuity, acumen, instinct, hustle, and drive.
