This Awesome Star Wars Art Combines The Force Awakens and Rogue One

Disney purchased Lucasfilm, including its Star Wars properties a few years ago, and has since launched a new all-canon comicbook line with Marvel Comics and new canon novels that fit directly into the world established by the film, to some resistance from fans of the old expanded universe.

The Force Awakens will be launching on June 28, 2016, for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Wii U and 3DS.

If you’re into Star Wars, and you’re into drones, this is the flawless day out you’ve been looking for. Check it out in the player below!

The art pictured above will appear on merchandise available at the Star Wars Celebration in London, England, and can be purchased as a poster. Another “Star Wars Story” featuring a young Han Solo is in pre-production, and Episode IX is also already on the schedule.

“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is set to debut this December, and this new poster provides a detailed look at some of the new characters, technology and Stormtroopers in the film. And just like the original Star Wars, they were created by sound master Ben Burtt, who was given a special honorary Oscar for his work on the movie back in 1977.

While some of the news has definitely proven more peculiar than flat-out joyous, as ever, we won’t truly know how to take a lot of these announcements until we sit down in the cinema and see them in action for ourselves. Will you be attending the event this summer?
