This could be our first look at the LG V20

In the image above, you can see an extra button on the side and a segment on the bottom that could slide out, allowing users to change the battery, add a camera grip, and so on.

Significantly, though, it seems LG is planning to incorporate the modular approach it introduced within the 2016 LG G5. Instead the rear-camera gets the dual treatment, just like the LG G5.

With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, one may think that leak season for fancy phones may slow down.

LG’s upcoming handset has gotten us all excited ever since the company announced that it would be the first non-Nexus smartphone to come with Android 7.0 Nougat.

Looking at the renders we see a button down the right side of the V20, which could be the unlock button to slide out the bottom and attach a ‘LG Friend.’ LG had banked a lot on the LG Friends peripherals to be a huge success, but now it has not captured the public’s imagination, despite being the best innovation at Mobile World Congress 2016. That would mean the V20 has separate and incompatible modules. Right? Maybe LG won’t bother with modules this time. Specs remain unknown, but we should expect to see flagship-quality hardware inside the V20. But assuming that the renders show the LG V20 as it will be released on the market, there are several characteristics to point out, including the dual-camera setup which seems to have been positioned horizontally, similar to the LG G5. If anything, despite sharing some aesthetic similarities with its slightly older sibling, the V20 does manage to at least look interestingly distinctive.

For one, the combination of a very noticeable camera hump, minimal bezels and the presence of a second screen make the V20 nearly instantly recognizable – granted, were these images to represent the actual device. Below the cameras is a fingerprint sensor.

None of this is official yet, and we can not confirm the accuracy of these renders at this time. Hopefully they don’t muck it up.
