According to the report, the dog, Gizmo, is the only animal in the Battersea Dogs and Cats shelter who lived so long – means no yet any dog has spent a time of five months in the shelter.
The officials of the shelter explained that the days of Gizmo are 40 days more than any dog lived in the shelter.
Gizmo is six years old, but has been unable to win over any potential owners- because he is too sad to greet them and wag his tail.
A kind hearted shelter member said that she wanted to find a new home for him before this Christmas.
