This Hori Keyboard and Mouse Works with your PS4

That’s why there’s a market to adapt the control scheme to consoles – the latest of which is Hori’s Tactical Assault Commander 4, an upgraded version of the TAC3 intended for PS4. Period. Console gamers may be loathe to admit it, but they may also change their tune once they get the chance to try out a few WASD fun on their PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

A better option, I think, would be to look at something like the XIM4, which is just about the only one of the “mouse and keyboard for console” adapters that actually feels and functions like a real mouse and keyboard would. Sony seems to be adding the support through a licensed product, though this doesn’t rule out the possibility of native mouse and keyboard support in the future. The Xim 4 adapter offers a comparative value for next-level gaming control, letting users translate their favorite PC gaming peripherals onto last- and current-gen consoles.

The “Tatical Assault Commander 4” will be usable on a PS3 as well. It could also turn out to be a disastrous move that hinders players if the game being played wasn’t built on PS4 with mouse or keyboard in mind.
