This is the first leak of Galaxy S8 you should look at

Reports about Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus release date, specs and price details have been hitting the web for quite some time now. It is all set to release the device on March 29 as suggested by the new report.

Referring to the previous leaks and rumors of the Galaxy S8, the smartphone is expected to be launched in two display variants of 5.8-inches and 6.2-inches.

Multiple sources claim that the new S8 will sport AMOLED screens with a narrower aspect ratio. Both handsets will have dual-edge curved display as discussed by the company earlier. The lower part of the display will support pressure-sensitive input technology, similar to 3D Touch on Apple iPhones.

They will be Android Nougat-powered phones and may feature different processors – such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Samsung Exynos – depending on region. Both the chipsets are manufactured using a 10nm process node by Samsung. They are also expected to be 20 percent more efficient. The 5.8-inch model is said to pack a 3,000mAh battery while its bigger sibling will have a 3,500mAh battery. As a new edition, there will be a 64GB variant which can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card.

Meanwhile, a 4GB RAM definitely speeds up the gadget’s performance. The main camera will remain at 12-megapixel, though there will be software improvements. Since the physical button has been removed, the phone’s fingerprint sensor has been moved to the rear of the device, to the right of the camera. And given that the Galaxy Note 7 had a USB Type-C port, we’re going to guess that’s the port on the bottom of this, too. Oh, and cheer up, there will be a headphone jack. To launch it, however, you’ll need to press a button on the side of the devices.

Furthermore, Blass also shared an image that reveals the Galaxy S8 will feature an iterative design upgrade rather than a complete reboot which isn’t particularly a bad thing.

The leak also confirms the specifications which were originally reported by the Guardian. This delay might be because the company is taking extra precautions with the latest launch after it suffered with its Galaxy note 7, it might not wish to repeat the incident ever again.
