This is what Nathan Drake was going to look like

As you can see in the jaunty gif below, Naughty Dog had Drake partially based on Jackass star Knoxville with a more cartoonish face.

Naughty Dog released a video past year of Project Big, it’s original pitch for Uncharted, where the team showed off its thoughts for how the series should look.

Curious whether Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which recently had its demo released today, is worth the 6.9 GB of installation space on your PS4?

This makes a lot of sense when you remember Naughty Dog had, up till Uncharted, worked exclusively with cartoon styles.

The improvements and enhancements are a must, since “Uncharted: The Nathan Collection” is a remastered anthology of the three previous games under the “Uncharted” franchise. This is expected as when the games first came out, they were for older consoles. With 60fps, the games will be much faster and will feel less stilted.

According to industry reporter GameSpot, Sony announced that the new patch 1.000 will include various tweaks, optimizations, and improvements for the games under the anthology collection title. Included are the single-player campaigns for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

Thus, once the games are released, the necessary updates aren’t there and still need to be downloaded by players in order to play the games.

Not only that, as promised by Naughty Dog already, “purchasing the complete collection, you will also gain access to the multiplayer beta for the upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End“.
