He did admit he would like to see the show enjoy a secondary run on a traditional broadcaster.

A short trailer has been released for Amazon’s new motoring show which gives us a glimpse of the trio doing what they do best.
BBC bosses didn’t renew Jeremy’s Top Gear contract after he was involved in a fracas with a member of the show’s production team, and his co-presenters subsequently decided not to return for another series.
Anyone who wants to watch the Amazon show, shot in super high-definition 4K, will have to pay a minimum of £5.99 a month.
The first episode will see the series’ studio tent land in California and the team are also known to have visited South Africa and Yorkshire for the studio segments of the show.
The Top Gear rival is set to pull in some huge A-listers including Matt Damon and Charlize Theron, too.
C-list names such as musicians Seasick Steve and Tinie Tempah as well as comedian Greg Davies appeared.
Clarkson was sacked by the BBC for his “unprovoked physical and verbal attack” on a Top Gear producer in March.
