This mum’s reaction to finding ‘drugs’ in her daughter’s room is priceless

One Texas teenager, Ashley Banks, posted screenshots of a text message conversation she had with her mother after her mother confronted her about finding what she thought were Evil Drug Pills.

The discovery occurred after Ashley texted her mother to ask her to put a calculator in their mailbox so her friend Mj could pick it up before her SAT exam.

It was a simple misunderstanding between generations, according to Mashable, but the texts exchanged between mother and daughter have now gone viral.

One mum had the shock of her life when her daughter asked her to find her calculator in her bedroom while she was at school – and she discovered colourful “pills” instead.

What her mother found were not drugs at all but magic growing animal capsules.

“Come home this instant”.

With a picture of the drugs-turned-dinosaurs in a bowl of water, Ashley’s mom tells her she doesn’t have to come home and reminds Ashley how old she is. As soon as your dad comes home from California we will discuss the consequences.

Though Ashley avoided getting grounded, her mom was not amused. Go put them in water [sic]’.

After sharing the exchange on her Twitter account last week the tweet has received nearly 40,000 likes and more than 27,000 retweets. “I thought you were 16 not 7”, her mom wrote.

“Why on earth would you buy theses?”

Pretty sure “Idk they looked cool” are the now the most chill words ever spoken in history until this point.
