This Muslim woman in an American flag hijab schooled Trump on TV
Megyn Kelly used her Fox News dog and pony show today to discuss Donald Trump’s statement about closing down mosques in response to the attack in Paris.

While debating religious freedom on Fox News, Republican Muslim Coalition President Saba Ahmed lambasted 2016 Presidential candidate, Donald Trump, who had announced to shut down mosques if chosen as the President.
Even experts like Andrew McCarthy have said mosques tend to be hotbeds for political activity, not as much religious activity.
Ahmed later told Mic that she wore the scarf to “portray that there are patriotic American Muslims and we just want to live in peace”. “The mosque has nothing to do with terrorists”, she added.
“Megyn, we go to the mosque to pray …”
“It’s absolutely horrifying to hear that our constitutional rights to free exercise of religion are going to be challenged”. She says “you wouldn’t shut down a church because one or two Christians were behaving badly” and follows with “there are people who misuse religion for their own perverted ideology, but that has nothing to do with my faith”.

The woman in the Star Spangled hijab also sparked off a Twitter storm with a few praising her for her display of patriotism, and others bitterly criticising her.
