This New ‘Blair Witch’ Poster is Kinda Awesome
“Do you believe in the stories about the Blair Witch?”.

Lionsgate has released a new Blair Witch trailer, showcasing one of the film’s particularly claustrophobic scenes. With or without a spooky villain, it’s rarely fun to be stuck in a wet hellhole that seems like it might double for a temporary grave.
Early buzz implies that writer Simon Barrett and director Adam Wingard may have topped the terrifying original with their official sequel (presumably, Book Of Shadows will be left in an alternate timeline of the Blair Witch cinematic universe).
Nearly 20 years after the release of the initial Blair Witch Project, the franchise doesn’t have the same freshness it once did.
We are going to have to wait a few more weeks for the film to hit the big screen but the brand new trailer has arrived.
It’s been 20 years since James’s sister and her two friends vanished into the Black Hills Forest in Maryland while researching the legend of the Blair Witch, leaving a trail of theories and suspicions in their wake. “I’m really happy to have been a part of it… it kind of progresses the found footage genre a little bit which I think is really cool”.
“…It’s nearly like you’ve been, like kind of a deja vu, but then it turns into just a – like I said, it kinda takes our film and blows the doors off and goes nuts with it, in a really really good way”.

James Allen McCune (Shameless), Callie Hernandez (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series), Brandon Scott, Valorie Curry (The Following), Corbin Reid, and Wes Robinson co-star as the doomed characters in the film.
